Connect to Wi-fi in Barkley Offices

Kansas City, Denver, & Pittsburgh

The Wi-Fi network that allows access to the Barkley network is HOUSTON. Connection to the Wi-Fi network BARKLEY-Guest will not allow access to Barkley internal resources.


                           

                                    Sign in using your username(not your email address) and password




        Login to Microsoft Office 

        a.  Microsoft login

        i. Open the application Microsoft Powerpoint, Word or Excel - and sign in

        ii. Use your email address and email password to login

       

                                            Note: After opening and logging into an MS Office product, you see the below error - please choose "use another account"  in that yellow error bar - then sign in with                                                         YourUsername@BARKLEYUS.com









        Connection to VPN GlobalProtect

            A VPN connection allows our employees to access internal resources from outside the network - such as your home or hotel networks. Barkley file shares is one example of something you will access while connected to the VPN.




Note: The connection to the VPN will not work while connected to company networks

    

    Introduction to file shares and server connection

        Connection to the file share will allow you access client files and provide a space for you to store data securely. Files placed on the file share are backed up and produce previous versions of files. 



 


Cosmos

    This drive contains two primary directories and two directories for Barkley employees:


  • Department — contains a public and private folder for each department. The private folder is visible only to members of the department. Nonmembers will see only the public folder (e.g., AccountingPublic). Department members will see both the public and private folders (e.g., Accounting and AccountingPublic). Public folders can be seen by everyone, so be cognizant of which folder you drag-drop, copy and save items to. Public folders are the source of everybody’s knowledge.


  • Client— All client work will be on this server. Creative, Account, Strategy, etc.


  • WeShare — belongs to everyone. This folder is a shared public space used for sharing files or folders with other partners. There are two important aspects to be aware of. 1) This drive is wiped clean at the end of every month, and 2) It is not secure. Files here can be accessed by anyone, so be sure not to store confidential information here.


  • Home — is your personal storage location. This folder can be accessed only by the owner. Instead of storing files locally on your desktop, use this folder to store up to 10GB of your files and folders. Files stored here are backed up and kept safe. If the files you are working on are client related, store them in their respective Client folder. That will keep all client-related work with the client, and will also keep you from exceeding the 10GB limit.

 


Note: Access to specific folders can be requested by contacting the HelpDesk. If you are an employee of our Pittsburgh or Denver office there are specific shares to your office and teams. See below for the mappings of these drives

Accountability is Barkley's system for time tracking at work and specific jobs worked on for clients. It is recommended that you log your hours daily - this will ensure timely delivery of your paycheck. This system is also used for entering any purchase orders or estimates needed for any client related billing and expense reports that are required to be submitted. https://www.barkley-accountability.com/

    Webex

        Webex is a conferencing platform where employees conduct their video and audio conferencing with clients or partners in other states. You will get an e-mail initially to setup your account and then the site can be accessed here:

Learning System

The Barkley Learning system contains the required training for a partner as well as a way for a partner to catch up on any missed Rocket Science Meetings. This system can be reached at learn.barkleyus.com and logins will be username@barkleyus.com and your standard password. 



Company Phone


It is required for all Barkley partners to conduct business on a Barkley issued device. At no time will work be conducted on a device not issued by Barkley.

    

If you would like to keep your phone number and transfer your line over to Barkley, please complete the 2 required actions then fill the form located at the link below.

1. Contact your wireless carrier and make sure any leases/contracts for your line are completely bought out or paid for. You cannot have any remaining charges/balances or an active lease, or a contract on your specific phone number when switching to Barkley.

Alternatively, you can start a new line/phone#  with Barkley and have two phones.

2. If your line is with a carrier that is not Verizon, we will do everything in order to get your line ported to our account. If you are with Verizon, further steps will be required in order to release your line from your Verizon account. Please see Scott Mitchell for further information. 


If you are not wanting to port your line we will provide you a device that we have in stock currently as your primary work phone. You can still fill out the Cell Phone Request Form but just be aware if that device is not available we will provide you the next available item in our stock of phones
